76 DEFAULTER LIST from LOK SEWAK SOCIETY

On page 21 & 22 of the reply filed by society in the Registrar’s office.

1. Society stated” Following members are not eligible to cast their vote in election to be held on 15.11.2009
2. There is NO serial number given against the member and as such people cannot see the glaring act of debarring 76 members out of 126 members
3. There is NO mention of pending dues and the nature of the dues whether it is annual subscription of security OR lease money
4. There is NO date mention by which member can pay
5. Signature of President are on the right side of page 22 while the name has been printed on the left side. This goes on to prove that signatures have been obtained afterwards
6. On bottom of list the date was given as 23.09.2009

On page 23 & 24 of the reply filed by society in the Registrar’s office

1. It is same list like page 21&22 BUT only 3 members paid the dues
2. It is NOT explained why the payment of 3 member was accepted when on the list at page 21 it was clearly stated that members are NOT eligible to cast their vote
3. On bottom of list on page 24, there is NO mention of dates. As such again authenticity of this list is doubtful because in the previous notice on page 22, the date was given as 23.09.2009 as pointed above

From above we can see the competence, inclination and behavior of Managing committee of LOK SEWAK Society in Geetanjali Enclave to deal with members. Then they claim that we are a close knit colony so these kind of issue should not arise.

They must be repenting now that why did they defaulted the members in the first place ?

AGM 2009: Only 11 members attended. Then how 16 members of the Managing committee were elected?

AGM 2009 was held on 15th Feb 2009. Only 11 Members + 3 Non-members attended this meeting ( NOT EVEN the past members of MC thought it important enough )

You can see in attachment how 16 people of MC was formed by nominating each others name.

Showcause notice to Lok Sewak Society for not following orders

We had a meeting with Registrar last Thursday about Why NOT showing documents to members ? Interesting lines that came from our managing committee were :

1) We will NOT OPEN society office on weekdays as most of us are businessmen and don't have time. Even at retirement age we still have to earn money to buy medicines. Only free time is on Sunday's.

2) Property prices in Geetanjali Enclave have shot up because Lok Sewak have done development over years.

3) Working in Managing Committee is a voluntary job so we will work at our own times.

4) People in Geetanjali Enclave are very happy with us BUT we are not getting any cooperation from residents about money collection so society is facing money shortage. ( contradicting statement )

Registrar issued orders to Lok Sewak to show documents on 8th August 11:00am.

We had requested to Society to share few papers with us. Let's see when we will receive them ???

Lok Sewak society working as RWA also

170 plots, 400+ families,126 members in Lok Sewak Society, 80 members debarred. 65+ members staying outside Geetanjali/ Sold their plot/ member expired

There is NO CIRCULAR/ initiative from managing committee to enrol new members. ( Currently 20-30 active members only )

From the above mandate, one can clearly judge functioning of the society ?

It is suggested that in the coming AGM( Annual General Meeting ) the invitation to participate and attend the meeting should be extended to all floor owners in the colony irrespective of being member of society or not.

Residents views/suggestions will be a one step closer in seeking cooperation from them.

Mr Secretary resignation appreciated

Kudos to Mr Secretary who took the bold decision to resign from Lok Sewak society.

Resignation accepted but no intimation sent by Lok Sewak Society to its members.

Who is the next secretary ?

Acting President and Vacant Secretary seat--> society STOPS functioning

Mr President has nominated one of the vice presidents as acting President on health grounds.

We wish him early recovery and taking over the charge as President.

Probably since President is not well and there is no general secretary in society , No reply to letters written by members to the society .
