Geetanjali : Letter dated 15/12/2013 issued by President to Residents of Geetanjali Enclave

Dear all,

There was a letter issued by President to all the residents on 15thDec 2013 (as enclosed) . In reply to this letter, I had sent a letter by speed post on 28^th March to the President of the society (as enclosed)

Even after 1 month, No reply to my letter has been received.

Thus it is concluded that the letter dated 15^th Dec 2013 as issued by President has been treated as withdrawn. Hence President is NOT authorized to issue a certificate of honesty to Sh. Mukat Behari since investigations against him for fraudulent activities are under scrutiny with Registrar of Societies and Police department.

It is further suggested that society management should work in cooperation with the members and the residents and not waste their time in defending the alleged accused

Geetanjali Enclave colony has some acknowledgements amid legatee of a paradox

Mandir parisar is exemplary of coordinated efforts with some providing enabling finances for doers to translate them in praiseworthy effort.

Free health camps is yet another activity keeping society live, pulling the residents out of their pigeon holes.

Some good is also coming up from society office like court for volleyball, but their conceited thinking is still a legatee to disdain as being pointed out. 

Not all members are welcome, non-member residents are like Northeast community in the Lok Sewak society office.

Totalitarianism is jealously safeguarded, business rules are being trampled underfoot, and legacy of predecessor is in vogue.

The criminal breach of trust is an allegation against Sh.Mukut Behari under investigation by the appointed authority of Lieutenant Governor & speaks volumes on issues of:

·         Tennis court contract;

·         Convenient shopping center issue;

·         Leasing Colony Park;

·         Issuing NOC to members &

·         Invariable all other act

 Without approval of Managing Committee members

  

Let us see whether rule of law can prevail, although in past such fallacies have not been corrected till date.

Hiding Society Information from members/residents

It is a shameful act that for getting the information from the Lok Sewak Society office, we residents have to approach the registrar of societies. Ex president lohewaala Mr. Mukat Behari and current president Mr. Umesh, have all the things to hide. Such sheer waste of time and bungling of public funds should stop.

This has also happened in the past when Mr. Raj Kishore and Mr. Giri Khanna were in the managing committee. At that time also we had to get a show cause notice from Registrar so that they can share the society functioning details, papers with us.

What we are asking?

1)    Managing committee meeting minutes

2)    Contracts signed and receipt/payment proofs

Another example, there is mis-management in the collection details of lawn tennis usage charges. In the interest of transparency atleast 2 residents should supervise. At the moment only Mr. Azad Khanna is controlling the monetary collection for lawn tennis on day to day basis.  

Working in society is an honorary work and for public welfare so all the account books, any collection from residents, managing committee minutes should be made public. If they are hiding then it proves their fraudulent activities.

People say corruption in India happens because people are illiterate and don't know their rights. We wonder why corruption happens in Geetanjali Enclave and why don’t the residents complain and unite.

Do we and our children deserve such shabby parks and swings? The non working street lights and poor security?  Shivalik and Malviya nagar are much better maintained. And even Hauz Rani Park is better maintained.

Everybody in the office claims there is nothing to hide and we are a close knit society.

Then what is the reason for hiding the information?

Directory published for Geetanjali Enclave

Few of us have received the Directory of Geetanjali Enclave Residents as only 100 copies were supplied in the first lot.  

Would like to share that how few people close to our EX President Mr. Mukat Behari took the benefit of publishing their advertisements for FREE in the directory.

Since the money was collected from the nearby shops/banks/builders for advertisement and it is public money then the entire collection details should have been posted on the Society notice board. We have been asking for transparency in every matter of the society and there always has been a point blank ‘NO’.

Came to know that Rs 44000/- was collected for ads outside Geetanjali Enclave and as you can see below people staying inside Geetanjali Enclave DID NOT PAY anything.

How come people can shy away by NOT contributing even Rs 1000 to 2000 for this advertisement?

Special General Body Meeting on 9th June & 2 other Circulars by “Lohewala”

Please see the attached circular from President Mr Mukat Behari in “English” written & composed by his supporters Mr Giri Raj Khanna & Mr Raj Kishore who have been DEBARRED & DISQUALIFIED from holding Lok Sewak Society Management position for atleast 3 years by the registrar owing to their previous misconduct.

Mr. Lohewala is admitting the fact that he has b

een a failure in getting the cooperation from the managing committee comprising of 9 members, thus special general body meeting has been invited on 9^th June’13.

He cannot accept that he himself is a failure and not the 9 MC members. There is NO single task where MC members have failed but there are numerous scams & fraudulent activities done by Lohewaala.

9 MC members could not stop him from doing the dozens of scams.  Lohewala has been holding this office for only past 5 months

Please come and join on 9^th June’13 at 9am in Society office and see the Tamasha happening and demand his resignation.

As per Rules, only society members can participate and raise questions but there will be many NON MEMBERS and RESIDENTS too.  

Also see the attached circular dated 27^th & 30^th May in Hindi. These circulars are also written by someone else and it is NOT Mr Lohewala’s handwriting. I am attaching his Handwriting sample from March’13 and you can judge for yourself the dissimilarities.

Another strange irregularity: How come the circular dated 30^th May was actually circulated on 28^th May’13?

Just read his Hindi circulars with enjoyment and note his dramatic language style, very unfit for official communication It simply shows his casual and playful approach towards the society’s activities and colony residents too.

Punjab National Bank Rental Agreement

Dear Residents,

After joining the Society as Managing Committee member in January ’13, I am sharing my understanding for the rental lease agreement with Punjab National Bank in plot A9. I have been  requesting President to include Punjab National Bank Lease Renewal  as a agenda item but so far it has NOT been discussed in our meetings so far.

I am afraid President and few EX managing committee members will renew the lease by themselves just like they did in filing the rejoinder/reply in the High Court case.

Summary:

1* Lok Sewak Society owns the plot A9 and has signed rental lease agreement with PNB. This lease is about to expire and as such the matter needs to be discussed.

2*Residents are Not aware of the “ how much” rent being paid by the bank to our society.

3*To my knowledge the rent being paid is far less than the market rate and society is losing out atleast Rs 3 Lakhs per month.

4*The agreement & the clauses are favoring the Bank. Like Bank can vacate the premises by giving 1 months notice whereby Society CANNOT give any notice for vacating the same
